1.2 Menus
The PL9700 has two menus used for setup and
calibration, the Function menu and the Setup menu.
Also available is an Advanced Setup menu.
1.2.1 Function Menu
The Function menu is used to:
• Reset the empty weight
• Select a gross or net weight mode
• Select the preferred speed for the auto-cycle
mode
• Enable or disable the load-hold feature
• Determine load-cell test numbers
• Recall the tare weight
• Record the test numbers
• Enable the indicator for weight-to-go feature
1.2.2 Setup Menu
The Setup menu is used to:
• Calibrate channel 1 or 2
• Enable the advanced calibration feature
• Select the different weight increments,
commonly called the grad size
• Select the proper weight unit, such as pounds
or kilograms record the cal factor
• Enter the weight-to-go limits
1.2.3 Advanced Setup Menu
The Advanced Setup menu is used to:
• Enter the transmitter model
• Set the indicator for multiple trailers
