-- To reduce the risk of injur y:
• Do not operate the unit until the back is installed and locked.
NOTICE:
Do not plug the transformer in until instructed.
1. The power transfor mer is secured to the seat swing. Carefully cut the ca ble tie
and set the power transfor mer aside.
2. Install the back.
• Lay the back across the ar ms of the body (F I G U R E 1).
• Lift the back at a slight angle and align the brackets on the back with the
brackets on the body (F I G U R E 2).
• Lower the back onto the body, making sure the back and body brackets
are completely engaged.
• Lock the brackets by using a screwdriver to push down the locking levers (F IGURE 3).
3. Locate the massage connector s .
• Stand at the side of the chair and push the back rearward to recline
the seat and back.
• Gently tip the chair forward to rest on its ar ms and the top of the back,
revealing the under side of the chair and the connector s .
4. Identify the two connections you will make.
• Locate the three wires with connectors next to the body rear rail, toward the center.
• The two rectangular-shaped connectors are for the Hand Wand connection (F IGURE 1).
• The round-shape connector is for the Power Transformer connection (F IGURE 1).
5. Connect the Hand Wand.
• Align the two rectangular-sha ped Hand Wand connector s (some of the
connector pins are square, other s are round).
• Push the connector s together until they lock.
6. Connect the Power Transfor mer.
• Plug the Power Transfor mer connector into the connector located at
the center, bottom panel of the chair back. Make sure the connector s
are secured with no ga ps between them.
7. Retur n the chair to its upr ight position.
• Hold the Power Transfor mer cord away from the base and gently tip the chair
back, until it is completely upr ight and setting on its base. Make sure the Power
Transfor mer cord is not pinched between the base and the floor. Retur n the
seat and back to the upr ight position.
8. Choose a location for the chair that is close to an electr ical outlet and
proceed to the Operating Instr uctions .
NOTICE:
To prevent damage to the connectors and cords, it is important
to unfasten all connections prior to removing the back. Reverse the Assembly
Instruction steps when removing the back.
