Removal Procedures
To remove the board proceed as follows:
1. Ensure that the safety requirements indicated above are observed.
2. Disconnect any interfacing cables that may be connected to the board.
3. Loosen both of the front panel retaining screws.
4. To remove the board from the backplane perform the following:
1. Unlock the insertion/extraction handle by pressing down on the grey locking mecha-
nism in the middle of the handle. (This should be achievable with a minimum of force.
If necessary lift the handle up slightly while pressing down on the grey locking mech-
anism.)
2. Disengage the board from the backplane by pressing down on the insertion/extraction
handle and pull the board out of the slot ensuring that the board does not make contact
with adjacent boards. (If the handle does not move, it is not unlocked. Repeat the un-
locking procedure above and try again. Do not use force!)
3.2
Software Installation
Installation of the CP382 driver software is a function of the application operating system. For
further information refer to the appropriate software documentation.
Warning!
Care must be taken when applying the procedures below to ensure that when
the board is removed it is not damaged through contact with other boards in the
system.
