Remove the small hose from the fitting on the pump head.

Turn the pump on and check for air flow into the pump head. If there is no air
flow at the pump head, refer to “Pump Head Maintenance” on page 2-12. If there
is air flow, continue with the next step.

Turn the pump off and disconnect the power cable from the pump assembly.
Note: Before continuing with the next step, tie a piece of string or wire to one
end of the small hose. Make sure the string is long enough so you can remove the
hose from the pump assembly, but still use the string to pull the hose back
through the pump assembly.

Remove the small hose from the pump assembly.

Clear the hose of any obstructions. Verify there are no cracks or holes in the hose.
Replace the hose if necessary.
10 Use the string to pull the hose back through the assembly.
11 Secure the hose to the pump head fitting.
12 Connect the power cable to the pump assembly and turn the pump on.
13 Check for air flow.
