White Balance
White balance is the adjustment made to make white subjects look white and
to obtain a natural colour balance for recordings. The camera has two systems
for white balance adjustment: auto and lock.
Auto White Balance
Auto white balance is set automatically when camera is turned on to make
white balance adjustment for normal indoor and outdoor conditions.
White Balance Lock
Use white baiance lock when you shoot subjects not suitable for auto white
baiance.

Point camera lens at a
white object such as a
sheet of paper so that it
completely fills viewfinder.
• Set zooming lever to telephoto end (54 mm).
• Be sure sufficient iighting is avaiiable.
• There is no need for focusing.

Press AWB/LOCK button.

Make your recording.

Press AWB/LOCK button
again to reset auto white
balance.
• “WB LOCK” dispiay disappears from view
finder.
