Warning and notice messages
Various missages appear on the LCD screen. Check them with the following list.
Message
Meaning/Remedy
CHARGE B.ATTERY
(The indicator
appears.)
• No power remaining in the rechargeable lithium ion
battery.
Charge the rechargeable lithium ion battery.
(page 6)
ONote
If "CHARGE BATTERY" is displayed while using the camera,
and the power is turned off automatically, stop using the
rechargeable battery. Use the AC power adapter instead or
replace the battery with the fully charged one.
SAVING
• While the camera is storing an image into memory,
vou cannot press the shutter button to record another
image.
♦ Wait until the message goes out and press the
shutter again, (page 9)
N/A IN CONTINUOUS
REC MODE
• When IMAGE QUALIT»' mode is set to "FINE," you
cannot set CONTINUOUS mode.
♦ Change IMAGE QUALITY mode to
"STANDARD" or "SNAI’SHOT." (page 29)

• When REC MODE is set to "CONTINUOUS," you
caimot set IMAGE QUALITY' mode to "FINE.”
♦ Change CONTINOJOUS mexie to "SINGLE," or

NOT ENOUGH
MEMORY
• You have already used all the memories for recording.
Delete pictures you do not want to keep, and then
start recording, (page 40)
PROTECTED
•Tile picture is protected.
♦ Cancel the protectir>n on the PROTECT menu and
then delete the picture, (page !i9)
PROTECTED IMAGES
REMAIN
• Even if you select ".ALL" on the DELETE menu, you
cannot delete the protected image.
♦ Cancel the protection on the PROTECT menu and
then delete the picture, (page 3*^)
