Resetting the date and time______________________
The clock is set to East Coast Standard Time at the factory.
The date and time are held in memory by the lithium battery. If you replace the lithium
battery wid\ the battery pack or od\er power source connected, you need not reset tt\e
date and time.
You must reset the date and time when tKe lithium battery becomes dead with no
power source installed.
First, set die year, then.tiie month, the day, the hour and then the minute.
(1) While the camcorder is in the standby mode, press MENU to display the
MENU settings.
(2) Turn the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial to select e, then press the dial.
(3) Turn the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial to select CLCXIK SET, then press the dial.
(4) Turn the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial to adjust the desired year, then press the dial.
(5) Set the month, day and hour by turning the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial and
pressing the dial.
( 6 ) Set the minute by turning the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial and pressing the dial by
the time signal. The clock starts to move.
(7) Press MENU to make the MENU settings disappear. The time indicator
appears.

The internal clock of your camcorder operates on a 12-hour cycle.
• 12:00 AM stands for midnight.
• 12:00 PM stands for noon.
