FUEL PRESSURE ADJUSTMENT & LEAK INSPECTION.
By using a fuel pressure gauge, check that the fuel pressure is at the correct value and that there are no
fuel leaks in the connections in the fuel line and fuel rail.
CAUTION
■ Check the fuel pressure gauge to be sure that the pressure is at the correct recommended value.
If the pressure is not at the correct value as shown on the fuel pressure gauge, please adjust the
regulator to get the correct pressure.
■ Check the manufacturers seal limit for each injector (usually 4.5kg/cm2). When the pressure is applied, the
guaranteed seal portion of the injector, there's a chance that there could be gas leaks at the time of
maximum boost pressure. Please do not exceed this pressure.
