Removing and Installing Parts: Dell Dimension 5150C Service Manual

1. Follow the procedures in Before You Begin .
2. Remove the computer cover .
3. Press the blue tabs on either side of the guide bracket toward each other and slide the drive up and out of the
computer.
4. Disconnect the power cable and the serial ATA data cable from the drive.
Installing a Hard Drive
1. Remove the old hard drive .
2. Unpack the replacement hard drive, and prepare it for installation.
3. Check the documentation for the drive to verify that it is configured for your computer.
