Check the system and power connections to the monitor.

Determine whether the system has a remote access card and a video expansion card installed.
The system supports only the embedded video when using a remote access card.
If a video expansion card is not installed, go to step 3.
If a video expansion card is installed, remove the video card (see "
Removing an Expansion Card
" in "Installing System Options"). If the problem persists,
go to step 3.

Run the video tests in the system diagnostics.
If the tests run successfully, the problem is not related to video hardware. Go to "
