50 Coin-Cell Battery
Replacing the Coin-Cell Battery
1 Follow the instructions in "Before You Begin" on page 9.
2 Connect the coin-cell battery cable to the system-board connector.
3 With the adhesive side of the coin-cell battery facing down, press the
coin-cell battery on the slot on the top cover.
4 Replace the palm-rest assembly (see "Replacing the Palm-Rest Assembly"
on page 38).
5 Follow the instructions from step 5 to step 6 in "Replacing the Optical
Drive" on page 33.
6 Replace the hard drive (see "Replacing the Hard Drive" on page 28).
