NOTE: Finger Meters require 24 tooth sprocket on Veris drive. Refer above for sprocket change.

Veris Drive Sprocket Change
For proper operation on finger meters (high range) it
will be necessary to switch from the 12 tooth to the
24 tooth Veris Drive sprocket.
Refer to Figure 104
1. Loosen the chain idler and remove Veris drive
chain. Pull the retaining clip from the sprocket
spacer (1) and remove spacer (1) from the Veris
drive shaft.
2. Slide the 12 tooth sprocket (2) and the 24 tooth
sprocket (3) towards the Veris drive until they
rest against the inside locking collar (4).
3. Replace the spacer (1) on the shaft between
the 24 tooth sprocket (3) and the outside lock-
ing collar (5). Hold spacer in place with the re-
taining clip. Install the Veris drive chain and
tighten the chain idler.
4. Reverse this procedure to switch back to the 12
tooth sprocket (2) when operating 25 series
meters.
NOTE: Make sure and switch to the proper sprocket
on both drives.
