Refer to Figure 65
6. Check for excess wear on meter slide (1).
Slight wear at the top corner is normal.
7. If slide is not excessively worn, stop here.
If it is, continue with the following steps to
replace.
Refer to Figure 66
8. Remove retaining clip and pin from meter.
NOTE: Meter slide is spring loaded and the
two meter slide springs will be released
when you pull the pin. Use care not to lose
pins and springs.
9. Check removed pin for wear and replace if
worn.
Refer to Figure 67
10. Remove meter slide (1) with springs (2).
11. Place springs in new meter slide and in-
stall in meter.
12. Reinstall seed meter wheel. Refer to page
38.
