Right Box End Fittings
Refer to Figure 12, which depicts the left section box.
35. Select two sets saved:
803-169C NUT HEX FLG. LOCK 1/2-13 PLT.
802-203C HFSS 1/2-13X1 1/2 GR5
or HHCS bolts, flat washers and plain nuts.
36. Select one new:
123-492D HANDLE MOUNT RH CHAIN GUARD
Position it on the small seed box drive
mount.Secure with bolts
, nuts and washers
(if any).
Note: There are no other fittings at this location.
37. Repeat step 32 through step 36 for the center and
right sections. Additional new and saved fittings to
be installed are:
• Center Section, Left End:
1 123-491D HANDLE MOUNT LH CHAIN GUARD
2 804-016C WASHER FLAT 1/2 SAE PLT
1 150-138D 12’ EWNT LIGHT BRACKET
• Center Section, Right End:
1 123-492D HANDLE MOUNT RH CHAIN GUARD
2 804-016C WASHER FLAT 1/2 SAE PLT
1 150-138D 12’ EWNT LIGHT BRACKET
• Right Section, Left End:
1 123-491D HANDLE MOUNT LH CHAIN GUARD
1 119-190D HANDLE
• Right Section, Right End:
1 123-492D HANDLE MOUNT RH CHAIN GUARD
1 119-190D HANDLE
Install Meter Shaft Chains
Start with the left section.
Refer to Figure 13, which is depicted with obscuring parts
removed. Gray arrows show direction of chain motion.
38. Select one new:
136-104D CHAIN RL #40 62 PITCHES
39. Route chain around lower jackshaft driving
sprocket, around upper final meter shaft sprocket,
and forward of idler
.
Make sure chain clip opening faces away from
direction of chain motion. See Figure 38 on
page 28.
40. Engage idler arm and tighten bolt when longest
span of chain has
1 ⁄
4
inch (6 mm) slack.
41. Repeat step 38 through step 40 for the center and
right sections.
