Some source manufacturer’s remote controls transmit IR codes in reverse polarity.
Try learning the IR codes to the keypad by pointing the remote control at the
keypad once to lean the code, then point it away, and press the same button again,
and finally point it back at the keypad to verify the IR code learned.
