2.2.1 Attaching the CO
2
absorber cartridge
A 6.2837.000 CO
2
Absorber Cartridge is included in the standard
accessories of the IC Dual Suppressor. It is attached as follows:
1 Mount Cartridge Holders 6.2027.070
• Remove the lower screws of the holders 14 with a Philips
screwdriver.
• Insert the Cartridge holders 6.2027.070 into the holders 14
from below.
• Reattach the screws.
2 Attach CO
2
Absorber Cartridge
• Push the CO
2
Absorber Cartridge into the clamps of the
cartridge holders.
• Remove the yellow stopper which seals the cartridge inlet and
connect the CO
2
absorber cartridge to vacuum inlet 17 using
the 6.1816.030 Silicone tubing.

Use the yellow stopper to close off the CO
2
absorber cartridge inlet
whenever the 828 IC Dual Suppressor is not to be used for a longer
period. This increases the working life of the cartridge.
