25 Call functions
Make a call
To make a call
> In Idle mode, tap the centre of the display to
open the dialling screen.
> Enter the area code, and phone number using
the wheel.
Notes!
- To edit the entered numbers, tap the screen.
When the input field is selected, use the wheel
to move the cursor and press C to clear a digit.
- To enter a pause, tap More and select Pause.
> Press SEND.
> When you want to end the call, press END.
To make an international call
> On the dialling screen, select the plus sign (+).
> Enter the country code, area code, and phone
number, then press SEND.
To redial recent numbers
> In Idle mode, press SEND to display the list of
recent numbers.
> Scroll to the number you want and press SEND.
To make a call from the Phonebook
Once you have stored a number in the Phonebook,
you can dial the number by selecting it from the
Phonebook.p. 43
> In Idle mode, turn the wheel clockwise or
counterclockwise.
> Select the first character of the name you want
to find.
> Scroll to the contact and press SEND to dial.
> If the name has more than one number, scroll to
a number and press SEND.
Answer a call
When you receive an incoming call, the phone
rings.
Press SEND, or tap More and select Accept to
answer the call.
Note! To mute the phone during an incoming call,
turn the wheel counterclockwise.
Reject a call
Press END, or tap More and select Reject to reject
a call.
View missed calls
If you have missed calls, the screen displays how
many calls you have missed.
> Press OK.
> If necessary, scroll through the missed calls.
> Press SEND to dial the number you want.
This section describes call-related
functions. You can make calls in several
ways or use in-call options.
Note! During a call, the phone will switch
to Sleep mode. To wake up the phone
and use the keys and touch screen, press
any key.
