Bits 00Ć15
(00Ć17)
Gain calibration - Each bit represents a channel (bit 00 to channel 1, bit 02 to channel 2, etc). When the bit is
set, anda BTW has been sent, the module will readthe channels andadjust the gain correction values. If usedon
+, 0 to 5, or 1 to 5V ranges, a value of 5V is expected. If used on +10V range, 10V is expected. In differential
mode, bits 08 thru 15 (10 thru 17 in octal) are ignored. In current mode, apply 20mA.

Oversampling - This wordspecifies the number of times a channel will be sampledandthe results averaged.
Legal values of the number of oversamples are: 0, 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, and256. The format of the data in
thisfield can be BCD or binary. If 0 oversamples are chosen, or the block transfer write length is less than 40,
the oversample selection will default to 8.

Channel sampling disable - Each bit represents a channel (bit 0 for channel 0, bit 01 for channel 1, etc.). When
a bit is set (1), that channel will not be sampled. This feature increases the input scan time for unused channels. In
differential mode, channels 9 thru 16 are ignored. If 0 or the BTW length is less than 41, all channels will be
sampled (none disabled).
In this chapter you learned how to configure your module’s features,
condition your inputs and enter your data.
