Network Channel Status Indicators
Only channel B is labeled on the 1769-L35CR controller. The 1769-L32C
controller has only channel A but uses the second indicator in some status
indicator patterns as described in the table.

Off
A channel is disabled. Program network for redundant
media, if necessary.
Steady green
Normal operation is occurring.
Flashing
green/off
Temporary network errors have occurred. Check media
for items such as broken cables, loose connectors, and
missing terminators. If condition persists, refer to the
ControlNet Planning and Installation Manual,
publication 1786-6.2.1.
The node is not configured to go onlineMake sure the
network keeper is present and working and the
selected address is less or equal to the UMAX
(1)

Flashing red/off
Media fault has occurred. Check media for items such
as broken cables, loose connectors, and missing
terminators. If condition persists, refer to the
ControlNet Planning and Installation Manual,
publication 1786-6.2.1.
No other nodes present on the network. Add other
nodes to the network.
Flashing
red/green
The network is configured incorrectly. Reconfigure the
ControlNet network so that UMAX > the card’s node
address.
