Using Series A
Functionality in a
Series B Module
To employ Series A functionality when using a Series B 1794-IRT8 module,
connect a wire from terminal 39 to terminal 48 on the 1794-TB3G or
1794-TB3GS terminal base unit. When terminals 39 and 48 are wired together,
bit 4 in read word 9 will not be set (0), indicating the module is in Series A
functionality.
