3.3. Set SMTP, SSH
Arkeia can send email notifications of job completions. Set the SMTP
configuration information below.
1. Navigate to Configure  Appliance  SMTP
2. Enter the hostname or IP Address of the SMTP Server
3. Accept or change the default port
4. Provide a username and password if required
5. Click “Validate” to save the changes
Administrators can enable SSH access on the appliances.

2. Check the “Support” box
3. Click “Validate” to save the changes
3.4. Configure RAID Alerts
By default, RAID alerts will be sent to the email address of your “root” account.
You may also specify a second email address to receive alerts when the RAID
system detects a problem with one of your disks. If one of the hard disk drives
in your RAID array fails, it is imperative that you promptly replace the failed drive
and allow the RAID system to rebuild the array. RAID-1 and RAID-5 arrays are
not recoverable after two drive failures.
