3. CONFIGURING THE APPLIANCE
This section describes how to configure other attributes of the appliance before
you perform your first backup.
3.1. Set DNS Addresses
Navigate to Configure  Appliance  Network
1. Click on the “DNS” Tab
2. Enter up to three DNS Servers via hostname or IP Address.
3. Click “Validate” to save the changes
3.2. Define a Hosts File
Although external DNS is also used, we suggest entering the client information
for hostname resolution. Navigate to Configure  Appliance  Network
1. Click on the “Host” tab and populate the Host File with client information

5. Click “Validate” to save the changes
