Range - AL1 Input Ranging
The Acoustilyzer has different input
ranges.
• The range is set automatically when
entering the FFT mode
• SET the input ranging if any clipping or
high noise occurs
SHOW - Test Result
Select the display of actual SPL or
averaged sound pressure level (Leq). The
Leq measurement is reset when the range
is SET or when SHOW: LEQ is reselected.
HOLD - Cursor Hold
The cursor indicates the frequency of high-
est sound pressure level. For simple readout
and traceability the cursor can remain for
1 - 9 seconds at the frequency with the
highest level.
Pause: The FFT measurement may be frozen for a user-defined time.
• Select the PAUSE symbol and press the enter key.
• The PAUSE symbol flashes.
• Select the PAUSE symbol and press the enter key to continue the
measurement.
Cursor Readout: Actual level result of the indicated frequency bin.
The cursor readout displays the bin frequency and the corresponding
level. The cursor automatically jumps to the highest level in the spectrum.
Alternatively the cursor readout may be controlled manually:
• Select the readout data field and press the enter key.
• A frame flashes around the data readout.
