8 Maintenance
The operating unit is maintenance−free if all operating conditions described in
these Instructions are observed. (
¶ 61)
ƒ Clean the operating unit with denatured ethyl alcohol.
ƒ If you use any other cleaning agents, please observe the information
given in the table in chapter 9.1. (
¶ 99)
8.1 Battery replacement
ƒ A device−internal battery renders it possible to keep recipe data and the
system time/date of the operating unit stored if the voltage supply is
switched off.
ƒ If the Battery" LED on the operating unit is lit, you have to replace the
battery.
ƒ Data of the battery:
– Lithium battery 3 V,
Æ19 mm, type: CR2032
ƒ The battery is not included in the scope of supply.

ƒ Switch off the voltage supply before opening the housing!
ƒ The battery must be replaced within 30 minutes to avoid data
loss.
