Visual Indicator:
Fully Connected When
Color Ring is Exposed.
Open Position
Closed Position
Sleeve Retracted

Note: The Sleeve Will
“Lock” Under Pressure
to Prevent Accidental
Disconnect.
Installation:
Connect hose securely to the NPT Termination of the RQD Connector.
Operation:
Connecting Action:
1. Retract sleeve and
position lever as shown.
2. Insert test piece and slide sleeve forward collapsing balls around
the male fitting.
3. Rotate lever on connector.
4. RQD is now sealed on male fitting
and valve is open for flow.
Disconnecting Action:
1. Rotate lever from open to closed position. This will close the valve and vent
the trapped media.
2. Slide sleeve away from male fitting. Visual Indicator will be covered by
sleeve.
3. Remove male fitting.
