Color to Black & White Converter
From this dialog you can convert color images of BMP or JPG format into a black-and-
white images to be used on the labels. You can clip off unwanted parts of the image,
resize it, as well as make brightness and contrast adjustments. The top are of the window
is the toolbar, and below is an area where the target and converted image are tiled
vertically. Smaller graphics are automatically converted, whereas to convert a larger
graphic, after adjusting the settings, you have to click the Convert button.
If you need only a part of the converted image, you can frame it by holding down the left-
mouse button. The framed area can then be clipped of with Cut.

Load
Selects a graphic file for conversion.

Convert
Starts conversion. Smaller graphics are automatically converted.

Save
Saves the converted black-and-white graphic on the disk.

Reset
Cancels the color corrections and resize changes of the black-and white image.
·
Test
Sends the black-and-white image from the right pane of the screen to the printer to be
tested.

Cut
Clips off a framed are from the image in the left pane. The cut part becomes the new
target image.
·
Width
Changes the width of the graphic. If Constrain Proportions is checked, Height is also
automatically updated.
