B) Form a tie
by threading
the tail end
through the
buckle.
D) Insert the tail of
the tie into the
head of tool and
the slot of the
winding mandrel. C) Tighten the tie
snug by hand,
leaving at least a
3” tail.

E) Tension the tie
by repeatedly
squeezing the
handles. When the
desired tension is
reached, release
the handles. Do
not over tension the
tie. F) Cut off the
excess tail by
firmly pushing the
cut-off handle
downward.
G) Carefully
remove the
excess tail from
the winding
mandrel. H) Example of
clamped tie.
