Mounting Plate

Instructions
BAND-IT® Mounting Plates can be used as a heavy duty bracket securing hardware to poles. There are two sizes of
Mounting Plates to accommodate ¾” wide Giant Band with Buckle or 1-1/4” wide Giant Band with Buckle. When
using Giant Band and Buckle, we suggest double wrapping each band clamp and tensioning with our G40269 Giant
Banding Tool.
Alternative to our Band and Buckle system: Fasten the Mounting Plate to the pole using our same Giant Band and
our Bolted Band Retainers. This option allows the installer to tension the band without requiring the G40269 Banding
tool and Ear-Lokt buckles. See part numbers listed below as well as installation instructions for the Bolted Band
Retainer listed on our website under product instructions as: D50089/99 & D50489/99 Bolted Band Retainer.

Use double wrapped band clamp applied with G40269
tool for maximum strength and holding power.

Note: Mounting Plate and Buckle/Bolt Clamp positioned as shown for illustration clarity only. Buckle or Bolt Clamp
should be on opposite side of pole as Mounting Plate for highest strength.
