7.2

Error messages

If one of the following error messages appears, proceed as follows:
1. Remove fault (see Remedy).
2. Press the start/stop key to clear the error message.
3. If required, continue concentration and/or repeat.

7.3

Opening the device in case of a power failure

If the device lid cannot be opened during a power failure, you can activate the emergency lid
release manually.

1. Disconnect the power plug.
2. Insert a wire (max. 2.5 mm thick, e.g., a paper clip) into the opening on the right-hand side of

the housing (see point 5 in Fig. A and Fig. B on the fold-out page), and push against the
noticeable resistance.
This will release the device lid.

3. Open the device lid slightly.
4. Remove the wire.
5. Open the device lid fully.

Rotor unsymmetrically loaded.

Load the rotor symmetrically and balance.

WARNING!

Risk of injury from rotating rotor.

Wait for the rotor to stop before activating the emergency lid release.

Hint!

If there is a power failure, the vent valve will open. Before the rotor comes to a full stop, the
standard pressure in the rotor chamber will be restored.
