Select “Stereo”, “Right” or “Left”

L / P].

U / D].
• The available audio language varies depending
on the DVB broadcasts.
4 Press [ENTER / OK] to activate the
settings.
Note
• If the programme is changed, the audio language
will be switched back to the default language you set
in the “DVB Menu”. Refer to “Language Setting” on
page 32.
Subtitle
Many DVB channels transmit Subtitle information
along with their DVB channels. You can retrieve and
display it on the TV screen.
1 While viewing a DVB programme,
press [SUBTITLE].
• If the programme has no subtitle information,
“No information” will appear.

Select “On” using [ L / P].
• If you do not want to display the subtitle, select
“Off” using [ L / P].

Select your desired subtitle
language using [
U / D].
• The available subtitle language varies
depending upon the broadcast.

Press [ENTER / OK] to activate the
settings.
Note
• If the programme is changed, the subtitle language
will be switched back to the default language you set
in the “DVB Menu”. Refer to “Language Setting” on
page 32. If the default subtitle language is not
available on the new programme, no subtitle will be
displayed.
DVB Menu Setting
You can make settings of the digital tuner from the
DVB Menu.
Pincode Setting for Adult Lock
You can set “Adult Lock” to “ON” or “OFF” and also
change Pincode.

In stop mode, press [SETUP].

Select “DVB Menu” using [ U / D],
then press [ENTER / OK].

Select “Adult Lock” using [ U / D],
then press [ENTER / OK].
4 Select “ON” or “OFF” using [ U / D],
then press [ENTER / OK].

To set “Adult Lock” to “ON”:
1) Enter your desired Pincode using
[the Number buttons], then press
[ENTER / OK].
2) For confirmation, enter the Pincode again using
[the Number buttons] then press
[ENTER / OK].
To set “Adult Lock” to “OFF”:
Enter the Pincode using [the Number buttons].
• While entering the Pincode, use [
L] or [CLEAR]
to clear any numbers erroneously entered.
6 Press [SETUP] to exit.
Note
• Once “Adult Lock” has been set to “ON”, Pincode
will be required in order to view the locked channels
or make the timer recording of them, and when you
try to execute the “Auto Tuning” for DVB or “Edit
Channels”.
• If you forget the Pincode, press [4], [7], [3], [7] to
cancel the Pincode.
