3.10 Header/Footer Settings
Specify settings for the header/footer to be inserted on all pages. The head-
ers/footers specified here can be used when faxing/scanning or printing.

When headers/footers are registered, [Header/Footer] is available in the
screens for specifying scan and print settings.
Registering headers/footers
Settings can be specified for the following.

Touch [1 System Settings] in the Administrator Settings screen.
– For details on displaying the Administrator Settings screen, refer to
“Displaying the Administrator Settings screen” on page 3-7.
Parameter Description
Name Type in a name of 16 characters or less for the header/footer to be reg-
istered.
Header Settings Select whether or not to insert a header. If a header is to be inserted,
specify whether to insert text, the date/time or other information (distri-
bution number, job number or serial number).
Footer Settings Select whether or not to insert a footer. If a header is to be inserted,
specify whether to insert text, the date/time or other information (distri-
bution number, job number or serial number).
Pages Select the pages where the header/footer is to be inserted (either all
pages or 1st page only).
Text Color Select the text color (black, red, blue, green, yellow, cyan and magen-
ta).
Text Size Select the size (8pt,10pt,12pt or 14pt) in which text is printed.
