Handling Calls
Conferencing Calls
The 9480i CT IP phone offers two methods of conferencing:
•
Local conferencing (default method).
•
Centralized conferencing (for Sylantro and Broadsoft Servers) (Administrator must enable this
method).
The 9480i CT has a Conference hard key on the front panel. In addition, when you lift the handset
on the phone, the Conference key displays on the softkeys by default. Use either the Conference
hard key or softkey to create conference calls.

Local Conferencing
The 9480i CT phone supports up to 3 parties (including yourself) in a conference call. This is
called Local Conferencing and is the default method of conferencing on the 9480i CT.
Note:
Your System Administrator can set your Conference key to speeddial a
specific number. Contact your System Administrator for more information.
