10.2 When an Error Message Appears
The following describes the cause and the solution for an error message that
appears during scanning.
10.2.1 Errors during scanning with the [Scan] function
During scanning with the [Scan] function, the following errors may occur.
Space shortage of the print controller's internal HDD
Free space on the print controller's internal HDD may have become less than
0.3 %. Check the free space by the following procedures.

On the browser software, enter the IP Address of the print controller.
– PageScope Web Connection appears.
– To confirm the IP Address of the print controller, contact your net-
work administrator.
– Using PageScope Web Connection enables you to check the cur-
rent settings of the printer.
– For more information on PageScope Web Connection, refer to the
User's Guide (Printer) and the User’s Guide (POD Administrator
Reference).
