Fuser Jams

Lift up the two fuser unit levers.
When removing the jammed media,
be careful not to touch the transfer
belt. Touching the transfer belt may
result in poor print quality.

Open the misfeed-clearing guide for
the fuser unit, and then, while
checking the misfeed, pull the
jammed media down to remove it.

Close the misfeed-clearing guide for
the fuser unit.

Lower the two fuser unit levers.
Attention
Be sure to lower the two fuser unit
levers before closing the right door.
If the levers are not lowered, the right
door cannot be closed.
