Calibrate the IC-301 Print Controller
Obtaining the most satisfactory print quality on your bizhub PRO C500 printer
connected to the IC-301 print controller depends on a number of issues. One of the
most important issues is steady toner density. Toner density is affected by many
factors, including heat, humidity, and service settings, and it also tends to vary over
time. Such variations cannot be totally eliminated, but you can perform the
calibration process to compensate for them.
The color quality of a calibrated printer remains consistent over time.
In this activity, you will perform the off-the-glass calibration process.
Procedure
The IC-301 print controller provides you with a Calibration Wizard, which guides
you through the steps of the calibration process.
In this activity, you will first print a job before calibration, and then you will reprint
the job after calibration.
This activity consists of three main steps:
Step 1: Printing Without Calibrating the Server
Step 2: Calibrating the Server and the Printer
Step 3: Printing the Job After Calibration
