RADIO OPERATIONS
Manual Tuning
1 Press POWER 6 STANDBY/ON (POWER) to turn on the
power.
2 Press FUNCTION repeatedly until TUNER is displayed.
3 Press BAND/FM STEREO to select the band.
Each time BAND/FM STEREO is pressed, the band is changed
cyclically as follows: AM
b FM b FM STEREO b AM
4 Press TUNING/CLOCK UP ( N ) or DOWN ( M ) to tune in
to a station.
The frequency display changes to the clock display after about
10 seconds.
5 Turn VOLUME on the main unit to adjust the volume.
After listening, press POWER 6 STANDBY/ON (POWER) to
turn off the power.
For quick tuning
Keep either UP (
N ) or DOWN ( M ) pressed for 1 to 2 seconds.
When a station is tuned in to, it stops automatically.
To listen to FM stereo broadcast
Press BAND/FM STEREO to select FM STEREO. STEREO and
“on” is displayed for 3 seconds. When the unit receives the FM
stereo broadcast, STEREO is displayed.
When the FM stereo broadcast signal is weak, press BAND/
FM STEREO to select FM. The sound will be heard in monaural,
but distortion will be reduced.

1 Presione POWER 6 STANDBY/ON (POWER) para conectar
el aparato.
2 Presione FUNCTION varias veces hasta que aparezca
TUNER.
3 Presione BAND/FM STEREO para seleccionar la banda.
Cada vez que se presiona BAND/FM STEREO, la banda
cambia en el siguiente ciclo: AM

4 Presione TUNING/CLOCK UP ( N ) o DOWN ( M ) para
sintonizar una emisora.
La indicación de frecuencia cambia a la indicación del reloj
después de unos 10 segundos.
5 Gire VOLUME en la unidad principal para ajustar el
volumen.
Después de escuchar, presione POWER 6 STANDBY/ON
(POWER) para desconectar el interruptor.
Para una sintonización más rápida
Mantenga presionado UP (
N ) o DOWN ( M ) durante 1-2
segundos.
Cuando se sintoniza una emisora, se para automáticamente.
Para escuchar la emisora de FM estéreo
Presione BAND/FM STEREO para seleccionar FM STEREO.
Aparecen STEREO y “on” durante 3 segundos. Cuando la unidad
recibe transmisiones de FM estéreo, aparece STEREO.
Cuando la señal de transmisión de FM estéreo está débil,
presione BAND/FM STEREO para seleccionar FM. Se escuchará
el sonido en monoaural pero se reducirá la distorsión.

1 Appuyez sur POWER 6 STANDBY/ON (POWER) pour
mettre sous tension.
2 Appuyez plusieurs fois sur FUNCTION jusqu’à l’affichage
de TUNER.
3 Appuyez sur BAND/FM STEREO pour sélectionner la
bande.
A chaque pression de BAND/FM STEREO, la bande change
cycliquement comme suit: AM
b FM b FM STEREO b
AM
4 Appuyez sur TUNING/CLOCK UP ( N ) ou DOWN ( M )
pour accorder une station.
L’affichage de fréquence passe à l’affichage de l’horloge au
bout d’environ 10 secondes.
5 Tournez VOLUME sur l’appareil pour régler le volume.
Après l’écoute, appuyez sur POWER 6 STANDBY/ON
(POWER) pour mettre hors tension.
Pour un accord rapide
Maintenez UP (
N ) ou DOWN ( M ) pressé environ 1 à 2
secondes.
A l’accord d’une station, il s’arrête automatiquement.
Pour écouter une émission FM stéréo
Appuyez sur BAND/FM STEREO pour sélectionner FM STEREO.
STEREO et “on” s’afficheront 3 secondes. A la réception d’une
émission stéréo FM, STEREO s’affichera.
Si le signal de diffusion stéréo FM est faible, appuyez sur
BAND/FM STEREO pour sélectionner FM. Le son sera audible
en monaural, mais la déformation sera réduite.
