yes” when the fan is on. Note that to conserve fan life, the fan will operate
only when one or more channels in the Output Module are patched.
T - thermostat setup and status display
Pressing T displays the temperature status command menu, the current
overtemperature settings and the current Output Module internal
temperature. Press ‘I’ to change the overtemperature threshold, which
should be about 5 degrees C above the normal operating temperature of
your installation. If the threshold value is exceeded, there will be no loss of
system function but an error message will be sent to the PC during
patching operations.
P - power control tests output channels
Pressing P displays the output card power control command menu. Since
each DMX output device in the Module is powered up only when the
current patch configuration includes it, the diagnostics include this function
to test the isolated power supplies in those devices. The power control
command menu is a series of toggle and numeric selectors to power on
and off the output devices.
S - status sense miscellaneous
Pressing S displays the basic Output Module configuration as assigned by
the rotary and DIP switches on the CPU card. This function makes it
unnecessary to remove the module front panel to check the current
settings, unless the module is completely non-functional.
H -- Hardware Configuration Setup/Display
Pressing ‘H’ will display the Output Module’s CPU
card revision number, CPU speed and memory
configuration. You will normally not need to
access this information unless you are requesting
service assistance from the factory.
