Connecting an External Microphone
You can enhance the quality of sound input by using an external microphone (not
supplied).
To connect an external microphone
1 Verify that your microphone is designed for notebook use and compliant
with the plug-in power microphone.
2 Locate the Microphone jack on the right panel of the notebook. A
protruding dot above the Microphone jack distinguishes this jack from the
Headphone jack.
3 Plug the microphone cable (supplied with microphone) connector into the
Microphone jack.
