Risk of injury! The main switch is to be
switched off while carrying out any repairs
or maintenance jobs.
Who may remedy faults?

Operator
Work designated with the sign “Opera-
tor” may only be carried out by persons
who have been instructed in the safe
operation and maintenance on the high
pressure plant.

Electricians
Only persons with a professional train-
ing in the electro-technical area.

Customer Service
Work designated with the sign “Custom-
er Service” may only be done by the fit-
ters of Kärcher Customer Service.

The warranty terms published by the rele-
vant sales company are applicable in each
country. We will repair potential failures of
your appliance within the warranty period
free of charge, provided that such failure is
caused by faulty material or defects in man-
ufacturing. In the event of a warranty claim
please contact your dealer or the nearest
authorized Customer Service centre.
Please submit the proof of purchase.

– Only use accessories and spare parts

which have been approved by the man-
ufacturer. The exclusive use of original
accessories and original spare parts en-
sures that the appliance can be operat-
ed safely and troublefree.

– At the end of the operating instructions

you will find a selected list of spare parts
that are often required.

Coin acceptor dirty

Clean coin acceptor.

Insufficient vacuum
performance

Waste container does not fit correctly into
the filter housing.

Reinsert waste container correctly.

Filter bag dirty.

Shake filter bag, clean it or replace it.

Suction nozzle or suction hose plugged
up or damaged.

Check suction nozzle or suction hose, clean
them or replace them.

Operator

The seal ring in the waste container is
dirty or damaged.

Clean or replace the seal ring.

Operator

The suction hose has been installed
wrongly.

Check and ensure the tight fit of the suction
hose in the filter housing.

Operator

Suction air inlet plugged up.

Remove the filter housing. Remove suction
hose and clean inlet opening.

Operator

Rotation direction of the suction turbines
incorrect (only with 1.247-xxx and 1.263-
xxx).

Replace phase.

Electrician/ Cus-

Suction turbine defective.

Check carbon brushes and replace if necessary
(only with 1.224-xxx and 1.261-xxx).

Electricians

Dust comes out
during the vacuum-
ing

Filter bag has not been fastened correctly
or is defective.

Check filter seating and replace filter bag if re-
quired.
