Please carefully read the instructions. When you fill-up your system for the first time and hear or feel the slight
vibration of the pump, THIS DOES NOT NECESSARILY MEAN THAT THE PUMP IS ACTUALLY CIRCULATING
FLUID. The pump is not self-priming, and its cavity needs to be filled up with fluid to operate properly.
Always place the Apogee Drive lower than the radiator fill-port level to fill-up the system, and listen carefully to the
distinctive cavitations noise indicating that the pump is priming. Double-check that the fluid is duly circulating by
looking into the radiator fill-port and inspecting the agitation at the surface of the coolant.
In complex installations including additional graphics and/or chipset cooling and depending on how you
configured your tube routing, air traps may occur in your loop that may render first time fill-and-bleed difficult.
Simply tilt and rock your chassis to allow air bubbles to escape any air traps. If there is a stubborn bubble caught
in your loop that is preventing the pump to prime DO NOT RUN THE PUMP DRY for more than a few seconds
(15 to 20 Seconds max), or this will permanently damage the bearing, and simply keep moving your case in
various positions until the air bubble is freed.
Finally, once your leak test is completed always top-off the radiator with fluid all the way up as shown below.
