Apogee™ GTZ / Socket 1366 hold-down plate installation guide

Loosen & remove the 4 socket head
screws using the allen wrench provided with your
Z
Lift the hold-down plate screw-spring
assembly, and set the Apogee™ GTZ aside
Slightly press down on the plate and
remove the clips with long nose pliers

Destornille los 4 tornillos Allen

Remove and set aside the socket 775
hold-down plate
Place the existing screw-spring
assemblies into the socket 1366 hold-down plate
mounting holes
Slightly press down on the plate and
install all 4 clips with long nose pliers

Fasten the hold-down plate assembly to
the Apogee™ GTZ water-block
Peel-off the protective paper from all
four foam strips, and apply the back-plate against
the back of the motherboard. Perfect centering
can be achieved by slightly pushing one of the
plate standoffs into a motherboard hole, then by
squaring off the plate with the opposite hole.
Apply thermal grease to the CPU, then
fasten the Apogee™ GTZ to the motherboard by
gradually tightening all four screws in a cross
pattern until they bottom out.
