Phone Settings
- Alerts - Allows you to toggle the on/off state for the Minute beep, Connect
tone and Disconnect tone features.
- SMS - Allows you to set the validity period. Options are: Maximum, 1 Hour, 6
Hours, 12 Hours, 1 day or 1 week.
- Change Barring Password - Allows you to change the Barring Password.
- Band Selection - Allows you to change the band preference to: Automatic,
900 1800 MHz or 850 1900 MHz.
- CB Message - Allows you to set the cell broadcast and to set the receive mode
to Enable or Disable. You can also set the language and channel modes.
- Own Number - Allows you to view, edit, add and delete your SIM number.
- Time - Allows you to change the TimeZone Setting to Auto or Manual.
- Assisted Dialing - Allows you to ensure that the proper IDD prefix is in place
for international dialing.
Phone Tab
These options allow you to configure several different settings that are specific to the
phone including:
• Ring Type
• Ring Tone
• Keypad Sounds
Phone Ringer Options
You can select several different phone ringer sounds for your Saga™. You can also
change the ring type and its tone, as well as set an alert for when voice privacy is not
available. To access these settings:
1. From the Today screen, tap Start located in the upper left corner of
the screen.
2. Tap Settings and from the Personal tab, tap Phone .
3. Tap the Ring type drop down arrow and select the ring type you want.
4. Tap the Ring tone drop down arrow and select the ringer sound you want.
Note: To hear the ring tone, use the player controls located to the right of the Ring tone drop down box. Tap
the arrow to play the tone, tap the square to stop.
5. Tap the Keypad drop down arrow and select the keypad tones you want.
6. Tap to exit. ok
