Setting the date and time
Set the date and time when using this HD
camcorder for the fi rst time.
1. Touch the Menu ( ) tab.
2. Touch the Settings ( ) tab.
3. Touch the up ( )/down ( ) tab until “Date/
Time Set” is displayed.
4. Touch “Date/Time Set.”
5. Touch the up ( )/down ( ) tab to set current
month, then touch day fi eld.
6. Set values for day, year, hour, minute, and AM/PM
as in setting the month.
7. Touch the OK (
OK
) tab when the date and time
setting is completed.
● The message “ Date/Time Changed” appears,
the set date/time is applied.
8. To exit, Return ( ) tab repeatedly until menu
disappears.
● On charging the built-in rechargeable battery
Your camcorder has a built-in rechargeable
battery to retain the date, time, and other
settings even when the power is off. The built-
in rechargeable battery is always charged while
your camcorder is connected to the wall outlet
via the AC power adaptor or while the battery
pack is attached. The rechargeable battery will
be fully discharged in about 6 months if you
do not use your camcorder at all. Use your
camcorder after charging the pre-installed
rechargeable battery. If the built-in rechargeable
battery is not charged, any input data will not
be backed up and the date/time appears on
the screen as “ JAN/01/2007 12:00 AM” (when
“ Date/Time” display to On).
● You can set the year up to 2037.

To switch the date and time display on or off, access the menu and change the
date/time display mode. page 66

为内置蓄电池充电
您的摄像机拥有内置可再充电电池用来
在关闭电源后保存日期，时间以及一些
其它的设置。在摄像机通过交流电源适
配器连接到壁装插座或者安装了电池
组后, 内置可再充电电池处于一直被动
充电的状态。如果您长时间不使用摄像
机, 该可再充电电池的电量在大约
6个
月的时候就会消耗完。请在将可再充电
电池充满电之后再使用您的摄像机。如
果内置可再充电电池没有电量, 一些保
留的数据便会消失并且日期和时间便
会显示为
“01/01/2007 12:00 上午” (当
“ Date/Time”(日期/时间) 显示功能为打
开状态 )。
您可以设置的最高年份是 2037年。
