Instant Messaging settings
Use the Instant Messaging pane to review and program your instant message alert settings.
Reviewing and configuring your Instant Message settings
1. Select Menu, Logout.
2. Select Menu, Options, Instant Messaging.
3. Complete the fields using the information in
Table 13 "Instant Messaging pane fields" on page 36
as a guide.

Auto Presence Enabled
Select this check box to have the Avaya
3100 MC - Client receive automatic
presence notifications from mobility
enabled buddies when their status
changes.
Note:
Auto Presence Enabled uses
extra airtime and reduces battery life
if the Avaya 3100 MC - Client for
Windows Mobile connects to the
network for every status update.
