this instruction manual covers two different

commercial electric water heater models:

The first models, identified with letter “S” in the model

no. (see ‘understand your model’ section), are referred

to as “Surface Mount Control” model. Those models are

factory equipped with surface mounted thermostat/ECO

combination controls.
The second models, identified with letter “I” in the model

no. (see “understand your models” section), are referred

to as electronic control model, are factory equipped

with an electronic control system and immersion-type

temperature probe.
