General Installation Notes:

Please read instructions completely before beginning installation.

If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to call.

Do not attempt to install the brake or clutch pedal pads while

engine is running. Disconnect negative battery cable and chock

vehicle wheels before beginning installation.

Step 1: Remove existing pedal pad.

Step 2: BILLET ALUMINUM - If the new Lokar pedal pad is

billet aluminum, there are two mounting holes in
the back so that you can install the pedal pad cen-
tered on the pedal arm or offset to the left or right.
Determine which position will work best for your
application, and thread the 1/2"-20 x 1-1/2" set
screw into the correct hole in the back of the pedal
pad. Make sure the end that accepts an Allen
wrench is facing outwards. Tighten the set screw
with a 1/4" Allen wrench.

STEEL - Using a 3/4" wrench, remove the 1/2"-20
jam nut from the bolt that is welded onto the back
of the pedal.

Step 3: If the hole in the pedal arm you are installing the

pedal pad onto is threaded, then thread the pedal
pad into the pedal arm as far as it will go. If the
pad is not straight when it gets tight, then loosen it
just enough to get the pedal pad straight.

If the hole in the pedal arm you are installing the
pedal pad onto is

NOT threaded, simply insert the

threaded part on the back of the pedal pad into the
hole in the pedal arm.

Step 4: Install the 1/2"-20 jam nut onto the threads that

protrude beyond the back side of the pedal arm,
and tighten the jam nut against the pedal arm.
Make sure that the pedal pad is aligned correctly
after tightening.

Make sure that the pedal will travel its full stroke
without the new Lokar pedal pad interfering with
anything.
