Assembly Instructions
NOTE: This bracket kit is intended to be used in conjunction with Flex-a-lite bracket kit #32122 or
#32125.
1. Find four “L” brackets, screws, and square nuts. Slide the
square nuts into the pockets on the fan shroud with the “teeth”
facing out (toward the “L” bracket), and use the screws to attach the
“L” brackets to the shroud.
2. Find four
¼
-20 stud mounting fasteners. Determine location for
auxiliary fan and rest it on the long cross-brackets. Lift up the long
cross-bracket (it may be necessary to loosen the attaching nuts)
and insert a stud mounting fastener up through a hole or slot in the
cross-bracket so it also passes through the “L” bracket attached to
the fan shroud. Refer to the assembly
diagram.
3. Place a washer and locknut over
each stud mounting fastener and
tighten. NOTE: Torque locknuts to
10 ft.-lbs. to avoid damaging the
stud mounting fasteners!
4. Tighten cross-bracket attaching
nuts now if they were loosened in the
previous steps.
5. Loosen the screws and position the
auxiliary fan over the radiator. To avoid
damage to the radiator core, position
the fan 1/8” above the radiator surface.
Tighten the screws.
