Remove the tape drive completely and retain it for use with the replacement chassis.

4.

Put the faulty Tape Blade chassis into the packaging that contained the replacement item.

Install the replacement chassis

1.

Unscrew the single screw and remove the cover from the replacement Tape Blade chassis.

Remove the connector cover on the rear of the replacement chassis.
