Recommended actions Problem/Scenario
To change HBAs on Windows or Linux hosts:
1. Remove the workload settings of the host.
2. Change the HBAs with a supported HBA and collect configuration
data for the host.
3. Reconfigure the workload settings.
Scenario: Changing HBAs on Win-
dows and Linux hosts.
P9500 user account is locked for one minute after 3 incorrect login
attempts. Wait for one minute and retry with the correct credentials.
Error occurred queuing

Possible Cause: QoSDBAdmin user password has expired. Check the
properties of the user QoSDBAdmin (Right click on My Computer
⇒
Manage ⇒ Local Users and Groups ⇒ Users ⇒ Right click on the QoS-
DBAdmin user and click Properties) to see if the option User must change
the password for next logon is checked. This means that the password
has expired as per the security policy set by the Administrator of the
Operating System.
Resolution: Change the password of the QoSDBAdmin user (Right click
on My Computer
⇒ Manage ⇒ Local Users and Groups ⇒ Users ⇒
Right click on the QoSDBAdmin ⇒ Set password…) and change the
password for the HP StorageWorks APEX DB service (Start ⇒ Run ⇒
services.msc and right click on HP StorageWorks APEX DB service ⇒
Properties ⇒ Log On and change the password for the QoSDBAdmin
user to the same password as set in the above step). Restart Management
Station upgrade of 2.1.1.
Scenario: MS upgrade from 2.1 to
2.1.1 fails
