3. Connect the SAS data cable to the tape drive, as illustrated below. Connect a spare power cable
from the server's internal power supply to the power connector on the SAS data cable.

Option 2: Connect cable to spare port on host SAS controller
The following instructions apply to some HP ProLiant servers. They are valid ONLY IF the host SAS
controller on your server has a spare SAS connector.
IMPORTANT:
This installation uses the HP SAS split cable to connect to an internal port on the host SAS controller.
It does not modify your existing SAS configuration.
